Introduction to Insight Hounds Course
Your starting point for group training and the foundation of our approach. This six-session course runs in-person at Shustoke Village Hall with some sessions online, giving you the skills to understand, communicate, and train your sighthound effectively. From enrichment to body language and practical training for walks, home life, and outings, this is where your journey begins.

Group Classes – Membership & Pay-As-You-Go
After completing the Introduction to Insight Hounds Course, you can join our friendly group classes. Choose between a regular membership slot or flexible pay-as-you-go sessions (subject to availability). These sessions build on the skills from your course, helping you and your sighthound continue learning in a fun and supportive environment.

Introduction to Insight Hounds Course
The starting point for training at Insight Hounds, this six-session course helps you understand, communicate, and train in a way that works for your sighthound’s individual needs.
What You’ll Learn:
🐾 Sighthound body language – Understand what your dog is telling you.
🐾 How dogs learn – Motivation, reward-based training, and confidence-building.
🐾 Enrichment & focus – Fun ways to keep your dog engaged at home and on walks.
🐾 Practical skills – Loose lead walking, settle training, recall foundations, and more.
This course runs in-person at Shustoke Village Hall with some sessions online to give you a well-rounded learning experience.
Who is this for?
This course is required for all group training at Insight Hounds. It’s perfect if you’re new to training, want to build confidence in your dog, or are looking for a structured, sighthound-specific programme.
