Clare is a dedicated and passionate dog trainer focusing on Sighthounds, specialising in ex-racing greyhounds. With years of experience, she has honed her skills and developed a deep understanding of these breeds, their unique needs, and the most effective training methods for them.

Clare is a certified member of the Institute of Modern Dog Training (IMDT), a Pro Dog Trainer, and is deeply committed to her own ongoing professional development. She believes in using positive reward-based methods in her training, which encourages good behaviour and fosters a stronger bond between the dog and their family.

Clare's approach to training is holistic, considering not just the dog's behaviour but also its environment and relationship with their family. She understands that every dog and their family is unique, and she tailors her training programs accordingly to ensure the best possible results.

Clare's passion for dog training extends beyond her work. She has spent over 15 years volunteering for greyhound charities, raising awareness of the breed and greyhounds as pets. Clare is the proud pet parent of an ex-racing greyhound, Izzy, and a rescue whippet, Freddie, who are often seen by her side. She believes that her personal experience with these dogs, her previous dogs and foster dogs, enhances her work as a trainer, as it gives her a first-hand understanding of the joys and challenges that come with a dog as part of your family.
