β€œTaking my greyhounds to Insight Hounds was the best thing I’ve ever doneβ€”our bond is stronger, and even ten-year-old Lyra loves training!”

"Taking my Greyhounds to Insight Hounds Training classes has been the best thing I have ever done!

I have learnt how to understand my dogs and what they are trying to tell me. They have learnt new skills and have made many new friends.

We have a greater bond with each other, and we have fun!

If you have an older dog, please don't think it's too late for them to go to school! Lyra is ten years old and absolutely loves it!

Thank you, Clare. You have done so much for us.”

β€œWe joined the Introduction to Insight Hounds Course for recall help and ended up loving it so much that we now attend weeklyβ€”Baby’s training (and our confidence)1 has grown so much!”

"We originally wanted a trainer to help us with recall for our puppy Greyhound and got some great advice from Clare around sighthound recall.

We decided to do the Insight Hounds Starter Course for four weeks, and not only did Baby the dog enjoy it, but so did we! Now we are fully signed up and attend weekly classes. Baby loves learning new things, and both my husband and I have grown in confidence with training our dog. We get lots of helpful tips and insights into this amazing breed.

I would highly recommend Insight Hounds to any Greyhound owner, whether it's a first-time owner or someone who has had Greyhounds before. All three of us look forward to Clare’s classes each week, and spending time with other sighthound owners is a bonus too!

The classes are informative, friendly, fun, and the highlight of Baby’s week!"

β€œInsight Hounds is a safe, non-judgmental space where training is tailored to each sighthound, and both dogs and humans feel part of a community.”

"My greyhound Sammy and I really enjoy going to Insight Hounds training classes.

The classes are for sighthounds, and the advice and training are breed-specific. Clare is extremely knowledgeable about sighthounds and very experienced in working with greyhounds. She runs the classes with a non-judgmental approach, always centred around the dogs.

Dogs are never pushed too far or expected to perform certain tasks or exercises. Training techniques are tailored to suit each dog, with their personality and behaviour always considered. Clare understands that not all dogs are the same and that some take longer to learn certain techniques.

Insight Hounds classes are a great place to meet new people who share a love for sighthounds and to feel part of a community. They are excellent value for money, running weekly in a calm, intimate environment with limited numbers.

During classes, there is a great balance between practical and theory-based activities, plus recommended resources. Clare continuously develops her own knowledge and training to improve the classes for both people and hounds.

β€œWe were out of ideas with our lurcher’s recall until Clare helped us find the right strategiesβ€”now we have a clear plan that works!”

"We were really struggling with recall on our rescue lurcher and tried several conventional dog trainers, with limited success.

We turned to Clare at Insight Hounds to get a more sighthound-specific trainer, and the results have been incredible! It really feels like Clare knew how to reach our dog’s wavelength and was able to find strategies and techniques that made his recall so much better.

Before we worked with Insight Hounds, we were really out of ideas, but after our sessions, we’ve got a clear plan on how to keep our dog’s training going from strength to strength.

Thank you so much, Clare!"

β€œInsight Hounds isn’t just about trainingβ€”it’s about strengthening your bond and enjoying time with your sighthound in a friendly, supportive space.”

"We have been part of the Insight Hounds family for 18 months now, and what a fabulous family it is!

We adopted Roxy when she was just two and very lively! Insight Hounds isn’t about trainingβ€”it’s about exploring the relationship you have with your dog and enjoying working with them so you’re getting the best out of them, and they get the best out of you.

Duke joined us in September, and we enrolled him straight into classes.

We all love Saturday mornings. The classes are relaxed and friendly, but the dogs (and humans) work really hard. It’s great to see the other dogs and their owners regularly and catch up with how they and their four-legged friend are doing.

Clare is just fab! She is really kind, and we all love her. Clare will answer any questions and make suggestions as she realises all the dogs are unique.

Having two dogs at different stages can be quite difficult, but we know that Clare will always offer positive suggestions (that work!!!).

We love being members/Insighters as we can reap the benefits of Insight Houndsβ€”monthly Zoom meetings, Facebook live streams, and events like Canine Massage are great. There’s even a monthly social walk.

If you’re reading this and not sure whether it’s for your houndβ€”you’ve got nothing to lose (and a whole lot to gain) by attending a taster session!"

β€œInsight Hounds has given Indi and me a clear route map to build trust, understanding, and a stronger relationship together.”

"Lost for words really. Clare and Insight Hounds training has given Indi and me a route map to develop and improve our relationship, understanding, and trust.

As a greyhound owner, I am working at keeping my little beauty safe, stimulated, and happy. Lots of 'ands' and plussesβ€”expert advice, constant updates, class companionship. Thank you, Clare, for all the planning you do.

We all learn so much in a relaxed atmosphere."
